SURVEYS IN OTHER CITIES
In recent years a number of American cities have begun or have undertaken citywide surveys of historic resources. The most ambitious survey currently being undertaken, and one that has influenced the Preservation Alliance’s approach, is the City of Los Angeles’ Historic Resources Survey—SurveyLA. SurveyLA is being carried out by the Office of Historic Resources of the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.
